Our Weekend
This weekend Joseph, Tommy and I spent it together while Bryan and Nathan went on a little trip of their own. It's amazing all that I learned from them in just a couple of days. And oh my gosh, Tommy gets into EVERYTHING, really. After dinner he pulled himself up to a can of powdered hot chocolate mix and when I took that away he helped himself to the peanut butter. He actually got himself a spoon and got some out of the jar. Yesterday we ran around doing some errands, had to get Bryan's car a smog, and well I waited for him to do it and . . . then we went to get his tags, played at Toys R Us where someone else besides me will have to clean up the mess. This was a weekend that the baby felt like she was pushing her way out, no matter what. We swam a lot, so much that Joe HAD to get a new suit. Joey and Tommy bonded and played so good together. Tommy ran around most of the time in his diaper and tennis shoes. He says "shoe" and he wants to wear them! Joe did his job, the one he gets paid for. He may even have another customer in a few weeks. What a busy bee and hard worker he is. Boy am I proud of him. He goes back to school soon and I am gonna miss not having him at home. We reminisced today about back in the day when we were a family of three. I never thought what a change having three babies in just 4 years would be for him. Now thats huge. A huge blessing no less, but a huge change for someone who is so young. When Bryan told him he wasn't going on this weekend trip the first thing he said was "yes now i don't have to hear Nathan screaming." Yesterday he noticed how quiet the house was without Nathan and said it was "weird". I know he misses him, because he is starting to beat up on Tommy the way him and Nathan beat up on each other. He may never admit it but I know he does. I know I miss Nathan. Who knew how two days would make you realize how much you missed one of your kids. The house really isn't the same without him here. I just can't wait for them to get home. I wish I had pictures of Tommy and Nathan snuggled up together watching iCarly videos and playing Aquadoole.
