Yesterday was my 29th Birthday (for those that don't know any better). I wanted to keep it simple this year. All I asked for is for the boys to make me a cake. What a wonderful treat it was. It was a chocolate cake with extra chocolate, chocolate frosting. It was so good. When our computer died a few weeks ago Bryan went BIG and got the new Apple MacBook Pro. It has been such a great splurge and surprise. Its all I needed for my birthday, a nice way to keep my family pictures and history updated and organized.
Now look how cute they are making their cake. What you should have seen is the mess they made making it. And if only you could have heard them talking. Every few minutes "go ask mom where this is" or "ask mom how to do this." It was great to sit and relax while they worked so hard to fill my birthday wish. BTW: Nathan thinks I'm 16 this year. Its great when they believe in your youth. My sister came out to help celebrate and brought me a cute "Oprah" box filled with her favorite things.
