My wonderful surprise!

Today Joseph had his first appointment at an actual Salon/Spa. We decided to let him go to a real salon since the last time at the normal hair place they really did a chop job on his beautiful hair. Bryan told me he would stay home with the little ones if I took Joe. Well today it really took everything in me to go and take him. I had just layed down for a nap when I looked at the clock and realized that I had to get up and go. So off we went. We were greeted as soon as we walk in, funny they knew my name, but not thinking anything of since I made his appointment. Then another lady walked out asked who I was and then said great Jennifer, I will be giving you your massage today. I replied, "oh no, you have me mixed up with someone else. I am just here to get my son's hair cut." Then they women told me, oh no your husband has bought you a massage. We will take care of your son, just go and relax. Oh boy, did I. As I was walking to the massage room, I turned back and looked at Joseph and said, "are you sure your going to be ok?" He replied, "Mom, I'm fine. I'm almost eight you know!"

Sometimes I forget how old he is and treat him like he is so much older. But at that moment I forgot that he really was that big and was treating him so much younger.

Today I really saw how blessed I am to have such a great husband. Sometimes I don't see how loving and caring he really is. Today I did!
