Tommy got real sick with no real symptoms. I knew he had been feeling off when the girls weren't bugging his, and when he didn't want to eat, but he was playing and running around throughout the day like normal. He had not fever, cough, runny nose. . . nothing.
After a few days of this I notice he got real lethargic Grandma and Papa were out to watch Joseph and Nathan play football, but that didn't perk Tommy up he just laid around.
I decided I'd had enough and took him into the urgent care at Kaiser. He regular doctor was on duty and realized this was very unusual for him. They started doing tests and gave him an IV. This was the first time he had ever had a needle poked and he didn't even flinch.
