Snowboard Another Day

I know, I know, enough with the snowboarding alright?
NOT!
These boys have so much fun doing it, so why not! Its a different adventure every time they go. This weekend was Bryan's birthday and what a better way to spend it than up on the mountain just hours after a huge storm that left almost 2 FEET of snow. Bryan and Joseph got up earlier that I have ever seen and were on the road quicker than ever, just to be the first ones to put tracks in the fresh powder.
They got up there so early some of the lifts weren't open yet and while they were waiting in line to get on the lift they watched Avalanche control throwing dynamite into the mountain. It was such a beautiful day with such great powder. As they stood on the mountain top they watched the wind blow the soft powder around.
This is by far one of my most favorite picture of Joseph snowboarding!
The day was so beautiful and nice, they decided to go without their face masks.
Mistake as they would later find out.
Bryan said when they were on a run they had stopped on their way down and when he looked back at Joey he said his face was frozen over (literally). He had asked Joey if he was ok. And with a frozen face Joe replied without moving his lips. Bryan said he was scared and worried for Joey and knew he needed help quickly. Bryan tried to brush the ice off his face but the cold glove against his frozen face only made it feel worse. Then Bryan remembered that before they left the car he grabbed a instant heat/hand warmer "just in case". He popped that open and began to defrost Joey's face, they found face masks and wore them the remainder of the day.
Watch that boy go!
Down that? Wow!
This is such an amazing picture! Nothing around but white snow.
It just looks so peaceful.
I zoomed in but there is nothing around but this fresh snow.
