Today Nathan is showing his wild side. . .

green hair or not he's darn cute!!!

Christmas @ Disneyland

Christmas is alway very fun and exciting especially all the decorations everywhere. This year Bryan decided we were going to Disneyland (tomorrow). This was a very, very, very last minute decision. A very fun and awesome decision. So we loaded up in the car, leaving all our Christmas presents behind and headed to Disneyland. WE HAD SUCH AN AMAZING TIME!!!! The decorations were beautiful, and the Christmas mood was so magical. It was especially fun because all the kids were at an age that they could really enjoy everything and they knew the characters. Here are a few pictures. . .

I'm watching and taking notes

Ava found a comfy place to write in her Kitty book.
She's just cute and fits perfectly on the stairs.

Santa Clause came to town. . .

This year we had a very Merry Christmas. Not only did Santa Clause come visit us and bring us wonderful presents but Grandma, Papa, Auntie Shaunny, Cousin Gracie, and uncle Chris all spent the holiday with us. It was such a great Christmas. We had our traditional prime rib Christmas Eve dinner with macaroni & cheese, my famous red potatoes, salad, all the apple cider one can drink. . . okay, I think you get the picture.

Santa brought a whole bunch of goodies, starting with
    • dad who got a new Ipad,
    • I got my bang bang,
    • Joseph got a new Ipod,
    • Nathan an electric scooter,
    • Tommy a "clock" bike, and
    • Ava a Mini Mouse tricycle.
check out the pics to see what a fun and exciting day we had (and everything else we got, and all the goodies everyone else got)

Christmas Time

Ever year I try and make a new Christmas tag, then I worry about what to get for the kids teachers, and what to do with the kids during the week they are off before Christmas. So here is the tag, the gifts I made (courtesy of Ann Rick who had me over to make one before) and the giant gingerbread men we made (I'll have to pick some up when we are back in CA for this year).

My peas in a pod

My "twins", they just love each other. . .

Halloween Cookies

This year I made candy corn cookies for Nathan's class party. I had to hand cut each candy corn to the exact shape I wanted, then the fun part frosting them. Don't they look yummy?

Robotics

For school we decided that we'd get creative with our science and do something Joseph has been wanting to do. . .
build a robot

He had such a great time doing it and did a great job!
